DERNORD Quick Disconnects make the mashing and boiling process much easier and much cleaner. With traditional barb fittings, it is very difficult to clean the tubing and pipe fitting during the process. With these quick disconnects, you can quickly remove the tubing and submerge in sanitizer when not in use. The 1.5"(50.5mm) Tri Clamp can help you install the Quick Disconnect to your fermentation tank.

Stainless Steel Quick Disconnect
You can quickly attach and detach your silicone lines throughout your brew day and it makes clean up easier as well. Female and male ends are used to form a locking seal. The male end is simply a post with a locking groove in it while the female end comes with a spring loaded cover(That must be pull back when connecting/disconnecting, ball bearings that lock into the male groove, and a food grade o-ring that creates the seal.
